In a uncharacteristic move, Apple has partially unfucked the Alchemy Mobile situation! Since the announcement in January that
Camel Audio would be shutting down, and the later revelation that
they were bought out by Apple, users have been unable to download their purchased IAP soundpacks. Now Apple has released a stealth update to Alchemy which allows users to redownload both the app and any previously purchased sound packs!
You won't find Alchemy if you try to search for it on iTunes, nor even if you click on an affiliate link from your desktop. This is super weird, but Apple has actually hidden the app from view. In order to find the app, if it is not already installed on your iPad, you need to click on an affiliate link from your iOS device!
