Robin Williams left more than a lifetime of comedic works behind. While the late actor and comedian will be remembered by most of his fans for moving performances in films such as
Good Will Hunting and
Dead Poets Society, Williams was also a fanatical cyclist.
He lived by the “N+1” rule of bicycle ownership, and amassed an impressive collection of bicycles that spanned decades as well as disciplines.
Williams’ passion for cycling was matched by his advocacy for people with disabilities. Now 87 bicycles from his vast collection will be auctioned off to benefit the
Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) and the
Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, two charities Williams supported during his lifetime.
