AudioCopy App Released + Demo Video by Retronyms

Retronyms has released the AudioCopy management app, a big new part to AudioCopy 2.0.

AudioCopy iTunes Description:

AudioCopy is a catalog for your sounds. Browse and audition all the sounds you’ve copied. Import sound using iTunes, store sounds centrally for easy use in your favorite apps.

Hintergrund: mit iOS6 abwärts war AudioCopy/Paste schon mit den Apps integriert.(siehe post vom Sept. 2012: The Jazz Bon Temps: iOS Music Apps: Core Midi / Virtual Midi / Audio Copy&Paste)
Mit dem neuen iOS7 musste auch von Seiten Retronyms, die AudioCopy bereitstellen, nachjustiert werden.
In Zeiten von AudioBus und Inter App Audio war AudioCopy als Austauschstandard nicht mehr so bedeutend, bzw. Apps die nur auf diesen Standard setzten sind einfach verchwunden oder wurden bedeutungslos. Daher das erst späte "nachbessern" von Retronyms.
Nun kann das AddOn wieder als eigene App nachgleaden werden. Umsonst! Funktionieren tut AudiCopy dann allerdings auch nur mit jenen Apps die schon iOS7 kompatibel sind.

In order to keep some of the best features of AudioCopy in iOS 7, we added a free standalone app. This acts as a “sound pasteboard” and seamlessly serves all the copied content to 3rd party apps. The AudioCopy app sits in the background and quietly serves the sound content to apps as they request it. If you don’t have the AudioCopy app installed, AudioCopy/AudioPaste still work using the general pasteboard.
